Ownership: Published by Onlinekhabar Nepal Pvt Ltd, founded and chaired by Dharma Raj Bhusal with Suresh Bhusal as executive director, registered with the Department of Information under number 214/073-74. The same owners took control of Himalaya Television in 2018, and since April 2026 a single group editor has directed both newsrooms. Basanta Basnet has been editor-in-chief since May 2025. No party or state holding is documented.

Funding: Advertising only, free to read, with no paywall or subscription; the commercial contacts published on the site are the chairman's and executive director's personal accounts. No donor, foundation or grant funding is disclosed and none was found.

Focus Areas: Nepali politics and government decisions, economy and markets, crime and courts, health and environment, and contributed opinion; most English copy is translated from the Nepali newsroom.
